Chasing fireflies

as the night falls

they come out

and even a small light

seems big in the night

so i run at night

chasing fireflies

and when i get too close

the morning awakes

then i wait through the day

praying and working my way

and after the evening

the night falls

i run through the night

catching fireflies

and just when i get close

the day breaks
